National Council for Mental Wellbeing

We are proud to collaborate with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in a pilot program implementing the Community-Wide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Roadmap. This initiative focuses on creating a comprehensive, strategic approach to Mental Health First Aid Training that spans entire communities.

What this means:

Strategic implementation of MHFA across your community

  1. Implements MHFA strategically, systematically, and measurably

  2. Reaches diverse populations across the community

  3. Engages leaders, organizations, and residents to identify needs and solutions collaboratively

  4. Develops a community-informed plan that reduces stigma, expands outreach, and influences policy change

  5. Creates sustainable, lasting impact on community wellness

This pilot positions San Mateo County as a leader in community-wide Mental Health First Aid training and engagement.

Your organization’s voice, expertise, and leadership are key to making this vision a reality.
