Twila is a certified Adult and Older Adults MHFA trainer.  She brings her experience as a Senior Peer Counselor, Long Term Care Ombudsman, Executive Director at National Alliance on Mental Illness, and Suicide Prevention Coordinator to her trainings ensuring they are person-centered, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive. Twila is passionate about bringing MHFA to all communities, but especially those communities and cultures where mental health may be more stigmatized and not discussed.
